The Christ’s Day

Today is Christmas day or Christ’s Day which we have waited a long time.

Christmas is Emmanuel meaning God is with us. Christmas is the love that God promised to redeem us fallen humanity in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3:15) in a form of a human baby Jesus Christ born in the manger a little over 2,000 years ago in Bethlehem (prophesied in Micah 5:1-2). Jesus lived among his fellowmen, taught them how to live their life to please God and was eventually crucified on the cross willingly to pay for our sins.

Christmas is not Christmas if Jesus is not here with us; likewise, we can’t celebrate our father’s birthday when our father is not among us, or is not welcomed to his birthday feast.

Christmas is not about Santa Claus, reindeer, snowman, toys and the showy decoration glittering on the pine tree and gifts under that tree, but it is about the real present that God gave us-Jesus Christ who was nailed on the tree in order to restore our relationship with God so that our sin is forgiven, eternal life in the future, and true peace, joy and love live in our heart on earth.

Merry Christmas!
